NURSING DEPARTMENT

AT Palmars, Our Nurses Handle The Following among Other duties:
  • Observing and assessing patients: Our Nurses monitor the vital signs, symptoms, and responses of patients, and report any changes or concerns to the doctors. They also perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests, such as blood work, urine tests, and x-rays.
  • Maintaining patient records: Palmars Nurses document the medical history, treatment plan, and progress of each patient in their care. They also ensure that the records are accurate, complete, and confidential.
  • Administering treatments and medications: Our dear Nurses follow the doctor’s orders and administer the appropriate treatments and medications to the patients. They also monitor the patients for any potential reactions or side effects, and educate them on how to take their medications correctly.
  • Performing wound care: We have caring Nurses who clean, dress, and bandage the wounds of patients, and prevent infections and complications. They also teach the patients and their families how to care for their wounds at home.
  • Providing patient education and support: Our Nurses explain the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options to the patients and their families, and answer any questions they may have. They also provide emotional support and counseling, and help the patients cope with their illnesses and recovery.
  • Promoting healthy lifestyles: Also they educate the patients and the public on how to prevent diseases, improve their health, and manage their chronic conditions. They also encourage the patients to adopt healthy habits, such as eating well, exercising, and quitting smoking.
